18 Apr Marissa & Moez (2 of 2)
The venue was gorgeous with a black and white theme, that felt similar to a black tie event. The place was customized with M&M decor, including the Chuppah, and had a very elegant feel to it. As Marissa walked the seven circuits around Moez her sister carried the train of her dress behind her, the whole time the couple were staring at each other lovingly. The Rabbi sang some lovely traditional hymns and recited passages. When the first kiss happened all you could hear was an uproar of cheering and applause from their loved ones.
Following the ceremony everyone immediately went to the dance floor to do the Horah, It was absolute craziness trying to get in there and photograph everything, but so much fun as well. After about 20 minutes it calmed down a bit for Marissa, Moez, and their family to perform the Mezinke Tanz (Krenzel) for their parents.
Eventually all the dancing concluded and everyone got seated for their meals. During the service Marissa & Moez got up to say a few very touching words to their guests.
Later the wonderful St. Royal band started back up and got everyone dancing again. And even brought out some special guests THE SPICE GIRLS (cover band of course…but still amazing). All the girls went wild, and I’m sure the guys loved it just as much too. They played a whole set of hits and even brought Marissa and Moez upstage with them.
I had so much fun second shooting for Erin Leydon again, and alongside Nicole Dee. Both days of this wedding were completely magical and just radiated love from everyone involved. Being able to capture such special moments like these make my heart so happy it feels like it could burst.
Cheers to Marissa & Moez!
