Summerhill, Toronto Engagement Shoot
Christine and Alex met in their University residence, 8 and a half years ago, and in their words, have been inseparable ever since. Alex enjoys hockey, soccer, and men’s fashion. Christine loves to read, spend time with family, and play beach volleyball. Together they love to hike, run, travel, and spend time with their dog Remy, an Italian Greyhound.
For their engagement shoot Christine and Alex asked me to meet them up in their neighbourhood near Rosedale and Summerhill stations which are the corner stones of their neighbourhood. Then we took a 5-10 minute walk from the station to a ravine, where they regular hike with their dog Remy. I immediately fell in love with it, as it felt like the exact same ravine I spent many summers exploring as a kid in my hometown. We explored their favourite route, and even went down a few other paths to discover gorgeous stairways, and rivers. I loved how adventurous they both were, and willing to explore to create some gorgeous shots.
We had a good mix of everything. Gorgeous greens, rivers, graffiti, and ended the session with popping some champagne. I had the best time with these two and can’t wait to adventure out to Vancouver to document their intimate family only ceremony…and then have a killer sunset session the next day.
