A Toronto City Hall Elopement
On a gorgeous summer day Robyn, Jesse and their immediate family gathered at city hall for an intimate elopement style wedding. When Robyn approached Jesse he absolutely lost their mind during their first look. It was probably the cutest first look I’ve seen yet. And their siblings, parents and grandparents watching were just as adorable. This intimate city hall elopement was filled with so much love. I was only alongside Robyn + Jesse for a little over two hours, but I immediately felt like I’ve known these two for years, and their families welcomed me with open arms.
It was a gorgeous day, over flowing with love. You could see how happy everyone was that their two families were joining together, at last. Their moms hugging each other tearfully. A gentle tap on a shoulder for comfort, everyone screaming with joy after they sealed their marriage with a kiss. After the ceremony, their families headed over to a lovely restaurant off of Adelaide Street, were they had a traditional jewish prayer and broke bread in celebration. Quickly after a few toasts, I ducked out and let the families celebrate peacefully and on their own. But I can only imagine how much laughter, joy, and tears were shared among the families throughout the night.
