Hi, I’m Amy

I am a coffee addict, avid concert goer, dog lover and crafter.

I love all things pastel, colourful, floral and anything DIY.

I picked up my first DSLR at age 17, and haven’t been able to put it down since. When I was 21 my cousin’s wife asked me to film their wedding on her parent’s property, which is where I discovered another passion of mine; capturing a moment of love. Even though I was filming, I couldn’t help but snap some photos. There was just something about freezing that love between two people for years to come. My job was to capture moments that would help friends and family hold onto the beautiful and fragile memories of that day to look back on.

And that’s the beginning of my love story.

Since that day I have not been head over heels with capturing raw moments, and have not been able to stay away from weddings, engagements, and beautiful moments.

I love every little thing about weddings. Getting to know a couple, the little details that make their day so special, and their love story. I take pride in finding out every important detail of your wedding whether it’s a family heirloom, a funny story behind your ‘something blue’, or the groom wearing their grandfather’s pocket watch. I love to be able to capture these precious moments that help make your day more special.

You can find me behind my camera, tearing up while capturing precious moments of your big day.

Because as cliche as it is to say;

I love LOVE.
And would love nothing more than to photograph your wedding.

I have three passions.

Surrounding myself with good-hearted people, storytelling, and love.

I put everything I have into my work, every single day. And I am so humbled to be able to document so many unique love stories.

Everyone has their own versions of love and romance, and as a photographer, it is my job to capture that in a way that is utterly and uniquely you.

Your wedding photos are your heirlooms to future generations.

My objective is to capture your day in a way that you can look back on and be brought right back to the feeling you got when you saw each other for the first time, or when you finally said ‘I do’.

I want to capture the love of not only you and your partner but your friends and family.

That proud look your mom gets while doing up your dress, or when your dad helps you tie your tie properly.

The joy on your partner’s face when you see each other for the first time.

I strive to capture moments that are true to you, that make me feel, and bring you right back to that feeling.

When I’m documenting a couple, a family, or a person I aim to document you in your truest self.

I want you to focus on the moment, whether it’s excitement that you get to marry your person, the moments after you said ‘I do’,

If you’ve just welcomed a special little human into the world or celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary with your entire family.

I want you to look back at the photos and remember how that day went.

This means I want you to go about your day like you normally would.

I want you to be focusing on your person instead of worrying about me being behind the camera.

We’ll chat, and explore together, and I promise you will barely notice that I am here with a huge camera.

I am not a fan of posing like magazine spreads do. I want to catch the quirky moments that happen in your everyday life together.

I want it to feel like I’m a friend alongside you for this big moment in your life, and want to do anything I can to help your day go smoothly.

I want you to be the right fit for me, as much as I want me to be the right fit for you.

This is so important because it ensures you get the best photographs, and that we’ll work great together.
